What itbalances is

itbalances is a tool for building a financial forecast: income statement, balance sheet and cash-flow plan, from the assumptions you enter. It is free to use.

What the tool is not

itbalances does not replace an accountant, a lawyer or a financial adviser.

  • The results depend on your assumptions, for which you remain solely responsible.
  • Social-security and tax rules are modelled with simplifications. Each rule is described in the help, together with what the tool does not take into account. The rates are those of the year shown in the tool and may no longer be current.
  • Before presenting a plan to a bank, an investor or a public body, have it checked by a professional.

The code of itbalances was written by artificial-intelligence assistants, mainly Claude (Anthropic). The publisher is not a software developer and directed the work without writing the code.

Availability and retention of your plans

The service is provided as is, with no commitment to availability or continuity. It may be changed, interrupted or shut down. If it is shut down for good, you will be told by email at least 30 days beforehand, so that you can export your plans.

Regularly export the plans that matter to you. The database is backed up, but no backup is as good as a copy you hold yourself.

Use of the service

An account can hold up to 200 plans and 30 MB of data. Automated use of the site, bulk creation of accounts and any attempt to access another account's data are prohibited. An account used in this way may be suspended or deleted.

Ownership

Your plans belong to you. You can export and delete them at any time. The software, the help texts and the design of the site remain the property of the publisher.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the tool's results, nor for the consequences of unavailability or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you.

Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
